Short Resume: Xavier Galiègue is Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Orléans. Graduated from the Institute of Scientific Economics and Management of Lille (IESEG,Lille) and the University of Paris X Nanterre (PhD and HDR). He is affiliated to the Laboratory of Economics of Orléans (LEO). Once focused on industrial and Innovation Economics, his main research interests are now oriented to environment and natural resources issues and to the dynamics of innovation in these fields. He is in charge of the economic aspects of several research projects linked to geosciences and agronomic science, financed by the French National Research Agency, the French Region Centre and the Labex VOLTAIRE. Theses projects concern the impact of the energy transition on mineral resources (REMINER; Labex VOLTAIRE), the economic assessment of the development of geothermic energy and Carbon Capture and Storage (ANR CO2 DISSOLVED and PREGO, with the National Bureau of Geological and Mineral Research, BRGM), and of the change of crop practices in agriculture (APR PUIGES with the National Institute of Agronomic Research (INRA))
