Short Resume: Eric Magnin is Associate Professor of economics at Paris Diderot University and entitled to direct research. He was the Head of the Department of Economics and then Deputy Director of the Department of Geography, History and Economics at Paris Diderot University during the 2000’s. His main field of research is comparative economic systems. In the 1990’s, he studied the postsocialist transformation process in Central and Eastern Europe in an evolutionary and institutional perspective. He is currently working on the diversity of European capitalisms. He has lectured at many universities in France and other countries. He is the author of numerous publications in various foreign languages.
